¡Enhorabuena Ethel y Cesar!

(Concept and design in progress by Francesco Vedovato + dpr-barcelona)

Antipodes
If you dug through the earth, you’d most likely hit water.

He reminded me about The Earth Sandwich. The idea is that you partner up with someone that is located at the exact opposite side of the world. You place a slice of bread and so does the other person - there you have it, an Earth Sandwich!

Has anyone ever made one?

‘The techniques of representation are never neutral and architecture’s abstract means of imagining and realizing form leave their traces on the work. To understand representation as technique (in Foucault’s broader sense of techne) is therefore to pay attention to the paradoxical character of a discipline that operates to organize and transform material reality, but must do so at a distance, and through highly abstract means.’

FM Radio Map plots the different locations of FM commercial and pirate radio stations by connecting only the stations that can be received in that location. This is done by drawing power lines in pencil on the back of the map, which conducts electricity from the radio to the front of the poster.
